Here it goes-I need this transformation. I need it for my mind, my body and my sanity!!
I am at the highest weight I've ever been and it's like I'm in someone else's body. I've forgotten proper and basic nutrition, which I'm actually not sure I ever knew... I miss being thin.
I miss wearing whatever I wanted to throw on without worrying about back fat. I miss mostly the confidence I lost when I gained all the weight.
No excuses, no reason for not giving 100%. This Transformation is IT!!
I've been a bit of a slacker on these blurbs...not b/c I don't care, but b/c I think everything I have to say is the same thing over and over. I want to see results, I'm seeing results, and I'm thrilled!! It hasn't always been easy, and I haven't always been the poster child for paleo perfection, but I have learned how to eat, how to exercise, and how to live a better, healthier lifestyle.
I'm sad we're almost finished the Transformation, but I'm still working out with Roger, and I'll always have what I learned here!!
Week 3 was pretty good! I finally lost a few pounds and did ok on my measurements and calipers too. I went to Sunday's total body class and loved it, and got in a couple of nice walks too, so my energy level was definitely up.
I'm looking forward to week 4 and seeing what results come with counting my calories/fat/carbs/protein!!
Week 2-I'm glad it's over and on to week 3. The biggest struggle I've had this week is making the scale too important.
I need to focus on the other good stuff that my body is doing (less body fat, inches lost, etc.) With that being said, I still want to see that scale move!!
Prep week was interesting. I am officially on Day 8 now and have been 98% on par with my eating!! I definitely had cravings and the urge to eat things I'm not supposed to, but overall going Cold Turkey and cutting out the crap wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be.
With that being said, I have to see how much weight I'm losing to gauge my portion size and if I'm eating correctly. First big workout is tomorrow night - BRING IT ROGER!!!
